The global pandemic has turned the America upside down, exposing the weaknesses in the job market and the glaring inequities in our communities. By putting people first, we can support our neighborhoods and communities where we live, work, send our children to school and enjoy the great quality of life we expect in Lehigh County.

Geoff Brace is leading the recovery in Lehigh County. He sponsored legislation to pump millions of dollars into Lehigh County’s economy through locally-owned neighborhood small businesses. He’s also created a sustainable energy initiative to help businesses make critical sustainable energy improvements to save money and clean up our environment.

The work isn’t done, but in the midst of a pandemic with economic recession, Lehigh County managed to approve a budget that met its obligations, didn’t lay off any employees and raise property taxes.

Our sustained recovery depends on jobs that pay a living wage. It also requires us to have a strong safety net that provides for seniors at Cedarbrook, human services for children and youth, mental health care, rehabilitation and intellectual disabilities.
